Kit optimization hints:

Design optimization point 1:

Some players have reported that the operating sound of the kit is too loud. Part of the reason is that the adjustment of the backlash between the motor teeth and the gears in the transmission is not accurate, resulting in a large meshing noise.

The design of the new motor base reserves the motor fixed mounting holes for 13T and 15T gears, which can greatly simplify the adjustment of the motor backlash and allow the transmission system to run in the smoothest state. (If the requirement for mute is higher, the user can choose to use nylon middle teeth, the mute effect is the best, and it can be close to the original operating noise level)

Design optimization point 2:

In the process of high-speed operation, if the CVD of the first version kit is installed inaccurately, periodic vibration will easily occur and a lot of noise will be generated.

The new kit design minimizes the CVD operating angle by improving the relative position of the two ends of the CVD drive shaft, which increases the tolerance for installation errors and reduces the possibility of vibration.

To modify this motor front gear box kit, you need to modify the GRC TRX4 steering gear front bracket and the GRC TRX4 dedicated steering gear arm:

Gear ratio change description:

After using the kit, the gear ratio of the standard 13T motor teeth will be slightly larger than that of the 11T motor teeth in the original state, that is, the vehicle torque will be slightly higher, and the vehicle speed will be slightly slower. If you want to be close to the original factory gear ratio, it is recommended to use 15/16T motor teeth. For details, please refer to the description of the gear ratio in the following figure:
